The micro-narrative method, developed in collaboration with Petr Slovak at Kings College, uses LLM-chaining technology to help participants create micro-narratives reflecting their lived experiences.
The method involves a brief interaction with a chatbot in which participants answer a series of structured questions related to a specific research question. Their answers are then combined to create a short story that captures the essence of their experience: the micro-narrative.
In developing the method, we worked within the case study of understanding young people’s social media harms.
